Today's Haul

I went with my sister to Manhattan for a thrift store coat sale. There had to be over a thousand coats there all under $30!! Unfortunately I did not find anything to my liking. I actually did find one but the coat was too small. It was literally calling my name lol but there was no boob room OTL. I was really looking for a fur vest ;A;. After that me and my sister walked several blocks (46st to 32st) to get to the discount store. Seriously it's so cheap and affordable so check out Jack's $.99 store if you're in the area. I only bought mascara and headphones but next time I will make a huge makeup haul.

Failed Makeup Tutorial

I was recording a tutorial for this look and my camera died within 5 minutes. 

I didn't even notice until I was done . I will definitely make a tutorial next year!

Now what makes it "wintery" is the trapper hat lol. But also the red and gold eyeshadows that I used. I really wanted Santa Claus hat but I was to lazy to go to the store and look for one.

Dentist and thrifting

Yesterday I went to the dentist. I hate going to any type of doctor now. I just have a low tolerance for pain. Now I have to go back to that horrible place for a filling x_x . I haven't even gotten my flu shot yet because I know it will hurt for days. Anyway after that I went with my sister to Hell's Kitchen which is a neighborhood in Manhattan. If any of you should know I LOVE thrifting. I went there in hopes of the Salvation Army Coat sale that I have been seeing on popular thrift blogger sites. Come to find out it was changed to next week. I was a little disappointed because I traveled so far but I found some super cute black combat boots for 6 bucks! After that I went to Koreantown to buy some food but I was being so cheap that I starved until I got home lol. I've been craving korean food for weeks! Some mere kimbap would definitely hit the spot. When I got home I just made some ramen instead and got my asian food fix from there.

I got these lenses randomly picked for me from Shoppingholics. I don't know if they still have that promotion but they send you a "free"pair of circle lenses after you purchase your first pair ever only if you do a review on the ones you purchased. If they approve they will charge you just for shipping or send it free with your next order. I only paid for the shipping with theses lenses but I was not able to choose what i wanted.

Influenster: College Vox Box 2012 Review

I've been trying to find sites where I can do reviews or sample products and I came across Influenster!. I was reading a blog that I followed when I saw her post and so I immediately joined. Thanksgiving + Autumn Fun!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I was extremely grateful to have a home cooked dinner with my family this year. Due to hurricane Sandy many people were not able to do that this year so my heart definetley goes out to them!

Omg guys I am so excited right now you have no idea. I knew BB was having a concert but I had no clue when it was. I went to a K-pop Fb group and I saw that there were some super cheap tickets on StubHub and I couldn't let that deal go by. I bought two tickets for $10! YES $10!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get to see my babies up close this thursday. Brb crying.

Happy Halloween!

I'm kind of late with this but I hope everyone had a great and awesome Halloween. I stayed inside this Halloween because of hurricane Sandy so I did some makeup inside! I will be sure to enjoy Halloween next year!

Hurricane Sandy Update

My whole community has been powerless for two days. I just got my power back 30 minutes ago but my prayers go out to all the families who have had their house completely destroyed and to those who have lost loves ones. During the hurricane it sounded like my roof was going to blow off but my family prayed. I'm finally getting to watch the news instead of listening to it on the radio. I want to see more of what has happened in the Staten Island area though. I went for a walk yesterday to see the damages and I have never seen so many trees down in my life. But there are places with more severe damages in my area. Never underestimate the power of a storm. People say "Oh well Irene wasn't that bad" but the fact is this is Sandy. Every storm is different so take precaution even if the last storm wasn't as serious. I know New York has the tendency to hype things up even If it turns out to be a drizzle but they do that to keep us safe!

A Little Update

I FUCKING HATE THE BLOGGER APP!! I just wrote a good detailed blogpost and it crashed (｡-_-｡).

Went to a Mini Gal Meetup. It was a semi failure because we were in a neighborhood we didn't really know and it was kind of ghetto. But I was glad I was able to meet three new gals!

Positive Highlights of the day:
1.Some lady liked my hair
2.Some lady litterally grabbed me by the wrist in the train station just to tell me she liked my style. I was like what?!??
3. A professional photographer from Vice Magazine took some shots of me and Lisa. I can't wait to see them

Negative Highlights of the day:
1. Men thought I was a prostitute/hooker. They came up to me and asked. Lol wut ._. The funny thing is that I wasn't showing any cleavage or even wearing short shorts! My shorts were knee length haha.

The Sushi Virgin Chronicles

I had sushi for the fist time in my life two days ago!
